But that is entire defense... entire defense is sucking in a major fashion right now... How about Adrian Wilson? What about Dockett? What has he done lately, or this season? We should bench him for Branch I guess since Branch's name has been called for often lately then DD. Same goes for every single player on the defense.

No, that play sure in the hell wasn't about the entire defense--it was about Paris Lenon. He messed up, and he doesn't have the speed to make up for that. At least when Washington messes up he'll have a chance to recover, and he has speed to bring to the defense. And he's the future at WILB and should be out there gaining valuable experience. But hey, at 3-7 and as bad as we are, we should keep Lenon in because he's a better playmaker. That's so much more important than player development at this point. Uh huh. Sure.

In addition Az1965 is wrong, Lenon isn't a better playmaker. Washington is as good or better. For gods sake how bad was Daryl that he's sat on the bench while the Seahawks and Chiefs put 67 on us?!?!?!

And there are specific stinky plays that can be picked out for each and every player on this team top to bottom... so what???

Player development will start (or should start) once the season is methamatically over. The staff is still delusional about competing especially when we were only one game out of the second place in this suckiest of the division. Now, as fans we knew the season is done with the way we started second half of our season with three consecutive losses.

No I didn't. I was asking why a young guy was sitting on the bench while an old guy was starting ahead of him.

I don't see Lenon being so far superior to Washington that Daryl needs to be on the bench especially when the team is giving up 30 points a game and the odds of Lenon being on the team next season are slim and none.
I'm not sure what does "tons of talent" mean then??? Speed and youth???? The numbers don't show anything else so far...

The numbers speak otherwise...

So the teams were not putting yards and points on us when Washington is playing? Washington is our saviour on defense... Ok, I get it...

You can spin in circles all night. But Lenon has always been a below average LB who now is over the hill and needs to have his rear parked on the bench.

So you agree with me, but think the coaching staff is too dense to do it? Good.

Not on this team, this year... he has been an above average LB compared to all the others including Washington. I'm not spinning in circles... LENON IS YOUR LEADING TACKLER. The facts are loud and clear! Maybe it means we have garbage and, hence, no wonder how the defense has been bitch slapped all around. But, that is a fact...

Being the best piece of wilted lettuce in a pile of garbage means nothing.

Lenon has played every game and our defense has sucked every game. He was the beneficiary of a couple of tipped passes and otherwise has done nothing!

The Cards could cut him tomorrow and we'd never know he was gone.

The Cards could cut Wilson right now and will probably do better. How about Dockett? If we cut him, the defense will probably do no worse as they already stink. Is Campbell even playing on Sundays? I'm sure we can cut him and will not feel any difference. I have been hearing Branch's name more last 2-3 games then CC. How about all our corners? What do you think of DRC's play this year? He clearly takes plays off... we must sit his lazy ass on the bench. Notice I haven't even mentioned the has beens Porter and Haggans. The list goes on and on... So why pick on Lenon, Cards leading tackler?

Because all those other guys have had good to great seasons. Lenon has sucked his entire career.

What has past to do with present? so you get guys who had great seasons in the past but suck today? So, we were right to get has-beens Porter, Haggans, Faneca,... what kind of twisted logic is that? :doi:

OK let's look at it from now.

You can take out Lenon and put in Washington and you would never know Lenon wasn't playing. Who are you going to put in for Porter? For Dockett? For Haggans? For Wilson? that you wouldn't notice they were out?

I saw enough of Ron McKinnon and his 200 tackles a season. Don't need to watch a repeat in the form of Paris Lenon.

Just anyone... will it matter? will you notice the difference the way everyone is playing? you would lose and lose big, will get embarrassed by the opposing offenses, will get bitch slapped... oh wait, we already are...

So what? At least a guy who will play for the Cards for the next 4-5 years will get some valuable experience instead of us just watching some old Crone who won't be on the team next season.

Now that is different... I never disagreed on this point as long as the season is done (which I believe is but the coaches still don't). But that goes for some other positions as well. Dan Williams should be getting most of the reps now. Why is Robinson starting? He is completely washed up. Will Davis should continue at LOLB even when Haggans is fully healthy. We should gradually start giving Schofield more reps at ROLB in place of Porter.

Robinson should never have been on the roster. Washington should never have sat for Lenon. Watson inactive every week? Then cut the SOB and see if you can get somebody who can contribute.

Just another group of puzzling moves in a cluster of an off season.

I thought Washington was everywhere against Seattle. Granted, he did miss a few tackles but he was in the right places and making plays. Hayes has contributed nothing aside from hurting the team with stupid penalties. :bang:
