While playoff hopes faded a few weeks ago, there is still something to root for other than a Cardinal victory. Today David Johnson can become the first NFL player ever with at least 100 yards from scrimmage in all 16 games. With Ezekiel Elliot not starting today, he has already won the league title for this year, and has a decent chance to get in to the top 25 all time and over 2200 total yards. On top of this, it is only his first full year as a starter.

I hate to say it, but looks like he tore his ACL. If so, we'll be lucky if he's ready for the season opener. I got my leg bent up like that snow skiing and the pain is horrible

If David Johnson tore his ACL and plays at any point next year everyone should be fired.

Yep. :bang:

Unless he's plastic man, that injury will likely ruin his 2017 ugh

My leg didn't feel normal for almost a year, but this happened 22 years ago. I believe the rehab time now is 8-9 months as medicine has improved recovery time a lot

Really? There are several types of tears and everyone responds differently. He could be 100% by week 1 or he could really need most of the year off. I'll wait and see what type of tear it is, if it even is tore.

Did you have a full tear and ligament replacement? Or just a repair?

Just checking in, he had about 30 yards in the first 5 minutes of the game, now this. I can't believe it.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh please don't let it be the latter
Chances are that's what it is unfortunately:madarms:

Legs just aren't meant to bend like that! IMO it ruins his availablity for 2017, at least anything productive wise.

Not necessarily. Did you see Lesean McCoy's injury earlier this year? It looked like he was done for the year and returned the same game.

Yes really. I wish HB didn't play either.

Initial tests on Cardinals' RB David Johnson's knee showed meniscus damage, ACL intact, per source. MRI on Monday for further clarity.
