Parra, Hill and Goldy all had good nights at the plate, but again, you let the other team score 5 runs or more, and you're not going to win a lot of games.....

I keep trying with this team. I keep trying to think positive and just watch the games and root them on, but this freaking pitching staff is so freaking infuriating that I just cant do it. Everytime this team gets the slightest momentum and everytime it looks like we might be turning a corner these pitchers go out and give up 8-9 runs.
Offense comes back today and ties it up at 3-3 and our pitching rewards them by giving up 8 runs and counting. I just have to turn it off. Other than a handful of good outings (which is almost bound to happen statistically by accident) this is the most irritating pitching staff I've ever seen...![]()
How is this team 10-9 on the road?

They won? Good, didn't get to watch it at work. They coming around a little and playing a lot better now. Good to see. Good for them.

"I think a lot of it has to be pressing at home," general manager Kevin Towers told Doug and Wolf Wednesday on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. "I think our guys know how vested our fan base is in this club and how we haven't performed at home. (There's) maybe added pressure, trying to do too much at home.
"Things have been somewhat negative around there in the way we've played -- it's hard on them. Where here, you're somewhat insulated on the road. When you're on the road, perhaps there is a little less pressure."
Simple. According to Towers, it's our fans fault causing the players problems at home they don't have on the road.
