Day games on weekdays in the middle of the summer... should not happen. Its like 700 degrees out right now.

But they play inside.

And, the humidity outside is 6%. I'll take that over 90 degrees and 90% back East or in the midwest anytime.

There was a day within the past two years where the officially recorded humidity at Sky Harbor was 1%.

I just came back from a fraternity/college reunion on the East Coast and told them, "The humidity when I left Phoenix was 8%. Now I know where the other 92% is."

I know its inside, I also know you have to get there. I just think its a terrible idea to do a day game when many are at work at its gross outside. I don't know what their announced attendance was but I bet there was less than 15k actually in their seats.

The "get away day" early game is a courtesy to the other team. The home team knows they are going to sacrifice some attendance.

I totally get what you are saying about the weather and people working... But, there are 81 home games. I mean surely we can sprinkle in a few day games for nostalgia if nothing else. Especially on get away days as a courtesy to the other team.

They used to all be during the day. Baseball fans figure it out.
