The Brew Crew is legit. If they can split or win this series, it's going to be huge. Or 'yuge', as the case may be.
One thing I remember about the early Diamondbacks that won so frequently is that there was someone different every night who seemed to pull the team through. It wasn't one 'star' and a bunch of tagalongs. This team reminds me of that. Everyone can play!

• D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt has maintained a consistent presence among the leaderboards for total barrels this season, collecting them at an increased rate from each of the last two seasons, according to Statcast. He knocked an RBI double on a sharp line drive to center against the White Sox on Wednesday. With a 107.0 mph exit velocity and a 20-degree launch angle, it qualified as Goldschmidt's 20th barrel of the season.

• Godley has a 68.1 percent ground-ball rate as a part of the Arizona rotation, which ranks second among starting pitchers with at least 50 batted balls this season, according to Statcast. The 27-year-old throws his sinker about 42 percent of the time, but also has a 73.7 percent ground-ball rate with his offspeed pitches (curve and changeup).
