Goldschimdt!!! Surprised they didn't walk him when first base opened up.

GOLDY!!!

These fools are talking about him now!!!

Me too man, that's why I said that was such a big at bat AJ. He could have loaded the bases with no outs for Goldie and when he got out I figured they would walk Goldschmidt for sure. Same story as always they pitched to him and he made them pay #Giants

Kind of just shows you teams might know who he is but they just don't give him that respect for some reason....

I get that they didn't want to load the bases for Trumbo but at this point how can you fear him more than you Goldschmidt .???

Goldschmidt is 2nd the NL in BB%. Teams avoid him even when they're not directly avoiding him.

If it wasn't for Bryce Harper's epicness Goldy would probably be frontrunner for MVP.

That was a fun game to attend. Brewers fans are an OK group, they have no illusions about being good.

My seats actually ended up being corporate seats owned by Miller Brewing, 9 rows back from home plate...pretty awesome.

I feel for Craig Counsell. Club record payroll, but the top of the payroll (Ramirez, Braun, Garza, Lohse, Broxton, Gomez, and Lind) isn't producing. The coaching staff obviously isn't getting the best out of the players, but management overpaid for a bunch of mediocre talent.

After the Philly series it is nice to see the D'backs take care of business against weaker competition.

Counsell should be the Dodger's skipper. He could teach them a few things about basic baseball. With basic baseball knowledge and their salary they would be the team to beat.

Anyone else notice that the D'backs are first in the NL in runs scored? Doesn't seem possible but they have scored 227 runs in 48 games while the Nats have scored 226 in 49.

Peralta decided to grip the whole bat with his lead hand on a bunt, the ball met his finger and they didn't get along. :(

No word yet on if it's broken or anything. Looked like it hurt tho!:(
