NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo!!!!!!
These retreads are just reincarnations of Michael Myers... no need to burden the team with these losers.

As a former Cardinals fan that continued to watch the scoreboard last year to see how the Redbird games were progressing, I shrieked in horror in the late innings whever the board indicated that #13 (Fassero) was pitching since the odds for him exploding were VERY high...

The D'backs should make a rule that they NOT consider ANY rejected relievers from the Cards or the Cubs (who seem to deal their bullpen bombs back and forth to each other). Those guys are guaranteed to ring in the boo birds at the BOB.

and Jesse Orosco???? oy! Even though the Yankees selected him as their potential left handed specialist after watching Michael Myers get bombed, it doesn't mean that Jesse has anything worthwhile left in his arm. The guy may want to pitch until he's 50, but please.. NOT.. with the D'backs.

This lefty specialist thing has been way over hyped and is waaaaay over rated!!!

Just when you thought it was impossible to raise the average age of the Diamondbacks' roster...

Good grief.

I just had the weirdest dream - I had visions of the D'Backs following up the past season using Mike Myers as our left-handed "specialist" by signing another terrible lefty "specialist", Jeff Fassero.....what was even stranger was that Joe Jr. was even contemplating signing that really ancient guy, Jesse Orosco!!

Thank goodness it was all a dream....what, they are actually thinking about it?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Are they out of their freaking minds??? Fassero makes Myers look like Cy Young!! As proven by Myers the past two years, taking a spot on the roster just to have a so-called specialist is useless - DON'T DO IT, JOE!!!

Jessie Orosco looks like he died 3 years ago and some guy is wearing his skin like a prom dress.

D-Backs are obviously believers in the concept of left-handed relief specialists. At least he will be cheaper than Mike Myers was. I guess he is the designated pitcher for Barry Bonds, Larry Walker, Todd Helton, Shawn Green and Ryan Klesko.

there is an acronym for that which I never can remember - LOOGY (?)

Jesse Orosco's ERA last season with San Diego was 7.56 in 25 innings.

Overall, with three teams, it was 7.75. That's an earned run every 1 1/6 innings. Every 1 1/6 innings!

How many times last year did we see Mike Myers give up a hit to the lefty he was brought in to retire? Many.

Haven't the D'backs learned that a skilled RH pitcher is a better alternative than a mediocre pitcher who hangs on because he throws from the left side?
