That was over two years ago. At some point the statute of limitations runs out on that being an excuse. Also doesn’t explain that every other pitcher on the roster seems to be doing worse than their average.

Pre TJ he had the best slider in baseball. Now he has no out pitch and crappy control.

You're probably correct but he's just the tip of the iceburg. This entire franchise is in ruins.
