Nice little ceremony for Randy. The pitch looked just like his out pitch to righties. Slider down low and in.

Josh Collmenter has given up 3 runs (2 HR) in the first 3 innings. Brenley mentioned that Josh has been having problems the second time through the order.

Thanks to Josh for being a stopgap starter but, with his straight overhand delivery, it is time to return him to his strength -- long relief.

I hope the D-backs brass is actively looking to make that happen.

I agree. He is MUCH better at the long relief role. It is a vital position for this team. He can save an arm or 3 in one appearance. Are we waiting for Bradley or is something else in the works?

I have no doubt that the first chance they get, they'll put Josh back in the pen. Just need a viable option to allow that to happen...

And, it's fun having both Pollock and Owings in the lineup... They both are great base runners and are red hot this month...

Off topic, but Doyer fans at Wrigley this weekend were so unpleasant and lame. Three sitting in front of me stood up for every play. What reason could there be to stand for a Puig bunt single in the first.

Luckily, I was in the wrong section, and the lesbian doyer fans next to me weren't so bad. And the Cubs came back to win after being down 6-2.

Not that anyone cares. :)
