Well, we have our best 3 pitchers going out there... Cano has been hot as of late... his last 30 games his hitting .300 with 8 HR's and 20 RBI with a .906 OPS.
2 out of 3 would be a great trip to Seattle!

U guys see what I mean about Ray not being able to put guys away?

He's a really good young pitcher, and that was a good inning, one 2 out hit is no big deal. But he threw 21 pitches.

Just saying, if he is going to be a successful SP for us long term, he has got to get that extra something to put guys away so he doesn't have extended foul ball battles and 20-30 pitch innings.

He needs to be more confident with his fastball. The original scouting report on him was that he was a power pitcher but wild. I think he has backed it off a little too far in an effort to throw strikes.

He needs to find a way to pitch that way most of the time, and then still be able to reach back and run that fastball up for some Ks.

I think he is throwing too many change ups. Just can't fool guys in the majors with that pitch like you can down in the minors.

You worry too much about pitch count early.

I'm not talking about one inning. It is every game.

And I'm not worried about pitch count I'm worried about getting outs and pitching more than 4-5 innings. The commentators are taking about it too if you just want to dismiss my opinion so easily.

That at bat at trumbo was a PERFECT example. He ran 2 solid fastballs right by him for strikes, 94 and 95, but then with 2 strikes he got cute and threw a change up and Trumbo got him.

That ball that Zunnio almost hit out, yeah that was also a changup.

I'm not attacking the team I'm talking about what this kid can do to get better because again, you can't play with the big boys if you can't get them out.

Ray looking sharp through 5. Hope to get 2 more scoreless innings out of him to get to the pen for the 8th and 9th

He looked really good at times tonight. I think he can be a stud, when he is busting people inside with that 95mph fastball he is so tough. He just goes back to the changeup and it gets him in trouble. The homerun was a changeup.

I really like him, but he is a work in progress. He has all the stuff

Blown save wins are one of the dumbest things in the W-L rules for pitchers. I've always thought the win should revert back to the pitcher whose win got blown.

Good to see them come back and win after blowing the lead.

And nice to see Goldy go deep.

Castillo has to have Seattle fans wondering why he was traded.

Good way for him to end the 6th, with the strike out. Hope he gets a win out of it.
