I'm allowed to change my mind but it feels like a rebuild year. :-(

The lack of any sort of movement is really interesting. It feels like they are waiting for some of the big deals to go down and then they try to do some small tinkering. I wouldn't call it a rebuild year yet.

Hazen has said repeatedly "We won't be leading the majors in runs scored again", which is basically saying they are not investing in any big bats or even bringing back Pederson or Walker.

I would imagine they try to bring in a legit closer, sign a platoon guy for 1st base, and trade a SP. And then they will buy or sell at the deadline accordingly.

So basically back to mediocrity or worse.
