The only problem I have with that approach is if Montgomery tanks again in 2025, his trade value will be close to zero. If he can manage a sub-4.5 ERA when pitching in 2025, then he will still have reasonable trade value.

Still interested to see what they do at DH and closer. Tanner Scott would be real nice in the bullpen. Not sure what’s out there DH wise that would fit in the “budget”. I still think they go with a combo of Suarez/Marte taking turns at DH with Lawlar filling in on defense. We will see I suppose
