Dbacks @ Padres Series

Looking at the Pads lineup, I think I would only want Jake Peavy and maybe Adrian Gonzalez to play on the Dbacks. I love how the Dbacks are stocked with young talent, and the Padres are not really.

4-0 Pads in the bottom of the 5th. Peavy is rough against the 'Backs. But I will gladly take two 2-1 series wins for this and the Dodgers series.

Uh, I just noticed this, but why is Montero playing? Petit has a personal catcher now or something? Melvin is an asshat. Does he notice that when he screws with the lineup that it goes to pot?

And the walks are just killing Petit. I don't remember him being that wild.

I'll give you that. Is Davanon even a AAA player? I mean, are we worried he wouldn't clear waivers? Please! I understand not wanting to burn options on the younger guys, but he isn't even a major league player.

I just have to laugh when you intentionally walk someone to get to the weak hitter and then he clubs a home run. Ha ha. Serves them right. Gets the pitcher out of rythm and everyone pays.

Petit doesn't speak english, so there's the reason that Montero catches most of his games.
