Sat third row behind home plate for this disaster. The moment Cahill came in I said the game was over despite being up three.

When you talk about phoning it in, Gibby lets Cahill face 8 batters before he even warms someone up.

Yeah, that was bad.

On the us side, Arroyo looked good and out offense is showing signs if breaking out of the collective slump it's been in. Which, candidly, the only benefit would be that the games might be a bit more competitive, versus getting blown out on a daily basis...

With the mob
Prado boots an easy pop up and then over runs second base like a tee baller might....?
Cahill looked like Cahill... Nothing new there. Arroyo finally looks solid and we blow it.

Twice Prado did that.....twice! What the hell kind of slide was that?

I swear by all that's holy I have never seen a major league player slide so horribly two times in a row. The awful slide on the stolen base attempt with Goldy at the plate and two outs, and then the awful slide on the passed ball with Goldy up and no outs. Throw in the E5 just for fun.

Can someone logically explain to me why Prado takes strike one every single AB. It makes no sense. Every pitcher in the league knows it and they all just groove a beach ball right down broadway every single AB. He starts every Ab 0-1. Why?

I can't stand that guy anymore.

Prado... the 40 million dollar glorified utility infielder.

So down on Prado... He does so much so wrong... And Parra is not an every day lead off hitter. His .294 OBP is pathetic!!

I know McCarthy always gets tossed in with Cahill bashing - and rightly so. But, gotta say, I can see the potential in McCarthy way more than Cahill. McCarthy does have quality stuff, as opposed to Cahill who would have trouble pitching against a quality high school team!

And now that our starting pitching has come around, the two biggest problems we have are Prado and Parra.... They are killing this team!

The primary reason McCarthy was a dumb signing was his health. Even before taking that line drive he had serious injury problems. Last season's meager 135 innings was the 2nd MOST of his entire career.

The McCarthy move was a gamble that many other smaller payroll teams would make... He's pitched a gem today so you can clearly see his potential. Can he stay healthy? We'll see...

They're saying Arroyo might have some type of viral issue... Getting blood work done tomorrow. Says he feels chronically fatigued... Said he was physically spent after the first innings yesterday! Not good...

WTH is Prado afraid of? Before the pitcher even released the ball, he's stepping out/away... My God it's so damn amateurish!!!! How the hell do the coaches not see this??

I dont think many small payroll teams would roll the dice on a 10 million dollar a year #3 or 4 starter with serious injury concerns. That is more like the kind of signing you see the big payroll teams make because screwups like that dont effect them as much.

The Kevin Towers Dbacks are not sure what they are. They dont spend money on superstar talent, similar to a small market team, but they throw away tens of millions of dollars on replacement level players... like the big spenders do. Basically they have the worst aspects of both.

Perhaps... They are not the Royals or A's (man I wish they were the A's)... And of course they're not the Dodgers or Yankees. They want to win badly and a move like McCarthy can be viewed as desperate...though, had McCarthy been able to consistently pitch anywhere close to his performance today, I'm pretty sure KT would be receiving praise versus the condemnation...

We should of won this series.

We were up 5-0 through 7 innings in Game 2 and blew it.

So you are saying we would have a chance in the Little League World Series?
