I thought we might get a run there in the top of the eighth, first and third with one out, but...

But, Huddy came in and did a good job in the bottom of the inning.

Drury had two hits Sunday and is slashing .275/.313/.456 with 10 doubles, eight homers and 18 RBI this season, but he has only hit .181 in the last 13 games.

Tomas, is hitting .256/.310/.441 with 12 doubles, nine homers and 23 RBI. But since O’Brien was brought up, Tomas is hitting .158 with three hits, two homers. However, the DBacks have $68.5 million reasons to play him.

Ziggy with rhe 5 out (in one inning) save.

4 game sweep. No Virginia the Dbacks are not the worst team in baseball.

Send Ahmed down. Move Segura to SS and Drury to 2nd base. We need the bats. Or send O'Brien back down. Or Weeks JR. Drury needs to grow in the majors IMO.

Ahmed is batting .274 in his last 114 PA. His average is up 49 pts since May 10th

That was all May 10 to June 11.

Since he has .192/.192/.308

He had a nice month worth of production, but it's been over for a week now.

I wouldn't send him down for Drury though.

Great to see a sweep by the Dbacks. I would be thrilled to see them do what they have yet to do this season; carry this momentum into the next series!

Toronto is a good team but sputtering a bit as of late. Let's go in there and compete. Can't sweep them all, but I would just love to see a sign of growth with this group rather than the constant peaks and valleys.

Corbin, Ray, Greinke for this series, let's do this boys.

Yup... the last time we swept a crappy team (the Braves), the wheels immediately came off...

I admire those of you who are maintaining your optimism. I just see no long term plan for this organization and it's been so long since we have honestly competed. I really don't think we will see an actual change until Kendrick and Hall are gone.

I'm not hopeful of that happening soon.

Toronto has been sputtering a bit as of late? Why, because they lost two in a row on the road to a first place team? They're 20-10 in their past 30 games.

Is 30 games considered "as of late" smart guy? How much softer could I have put that? They've lost 2 of their last 4 series recently and lost their last two games. I said they had been "Sputtering a bit as of late." See that means, they aren't keeping up the blistering pace they were, like the 30 games you cited. lol I didn't say they sucked or that they were not good. I didn't know the semantics police were in the house. Great zinger tho bro!

easy there..

they are 7-3 over their last 10.

they score a lot of runs, this could be a long 2 game series for us.
