I agree. Tomas, just as Owings, is swinging at air, with no idea where the pitch is. Outside, in the dirt, just off his ribs. I hope the two of them are not in the plans for next season.

Ahmed is an untalented hitter, who is pushing himself to his limitations. Tomas and Owings are constantly underachieving and showing no improvement.

At least in tonight's game, the anemic batting averages are batting 2nd, 5th and 8th. It just might be better to split them up than bunch them ahead of the pitcher (as we have all season).

Can't seem to get over that .500 mark, but have a chance going into Cincy and possibly taking 3 of 4 or evening getting a sweep. Hopefully the offense and pitching can click together
