Unbelievable. If they can't beat the Pirates how are they going to beat the Rockies. They came out flat today and that should of never happened.

Well it looks like the Snakes just don't have 'it' tonight, but like the announcers were saying, they've been very good about bouncing back, they really need to take the next 2 from the Pirates.

EDIT: Rally time? Also, does anyone else love watching Tony Clark run as much as I do? He looks like he's going to explode.

I had a feeling Lyon would choke this tie game.

Losing this way is harder than losing 5-1.

Every game is so important and if we don't make the playoffs, this will be the game I will look at. The Pirates had lost 9 games in a row before tonight. Some good news, the Phillies lost so the magic number is 3.

Can anyone explain to me why Bob Melvin continues to run out a lineup consisting of two guys at the top with respective OBP's of .298 and .309?

Because for some crazy reason its worked out about 56% of the time. :)

I guess the only explanation would be with Hudson done and Byrnes doing his predictable post-extension dive, there's a lot of low cards in that hand.
