This game was dang entertaining. Weeks with an awesome catch. That wouldn't have been a homer, but saved the tying run for sure. They are 7 and 1. Hope this continues.

Probably better to ask what didn't happen... Crazy game. Lead changes all night long... Dbacks made 4 errors, three by Lamb. Tomas hit two dingers, one to tie the game 9-9 in the top of the 9th, after Huddy and Delgado coughed up a three run lead in the bottom of the 8th.
Bourn hits the game winning single after Tomas' home run.
In the bottom of the 9th, Arrenado leads off with a double. The Rockies then get runners on first and third with nobody out and for some reason, Arrenado attempts to score on a chopper to Ahmed at short who throws home and gets Arrenado in a run down... Then Hundley hits a blast to left field and Weeks makes the catch of the year, banging off the wall and saving the game for the second out. Zigs then slams the door by getting the third out on a weak ground ball to second base.
The Dbacks used 9 pitchers in the game! There were a combined 30 hits and 19 runs, along with 5 errors - four by the Dbacks (3 by Lamb).
Haven't seen a game like that in years... [emoji15]

Great synopsis. Both teams combined to hit 9 for 46 with runners in scoring position. DBacks had men on 3rd base in multiple innings and fAiled to get them in. But yet we score 10 runs and win. Chip puts Gosselin in the 4 spot and he goes 0-5. Obrien goes 0-4.

Lol. What a game.

Does anybody else find Todd Walsh annoying or is it just me?
It is not just you. Todd does good work. But his oversized ego, just as Daron Sutton (who was not good at his job), spoils it. It is obnoxious!

The way he belittles Joe Borowski (the same way Sutton used to belittle Grace) shows the mentality of a bully. Instead of saying, "I'll be interviewing ___________ and Joe will back at the desk after that.", it is always, "You have to leave now, Joe, but I'll let you back after the interview."

Who died and left you King, Todd?

Did not know this.

"The game took 4 hours, 30 minutes to play, setting a National League record for a nine-inning game, per Elias Sports Bureau research. The previous record was 4:27 between the Dodgers and Giants on Oct. 5, 2001."

Fun game lost track of time.

That was not a base hit, Big E for Segura. Once again inning should be over and they're still batting.

Miller should really never pitch at Coors Field...
Segura and Bourn doing what they can to get us back in this one!

Gotta believe we won't be seeing Collmenter in a Dbacks uniform after this season...

All his pitches were meat pitches. Looked like he was setting them up for runs. Just bad.
