D'Backs sign Jimenez

Just saw on ESPNews that the D'backs signed Jose Jimenez. He's coming off a horrible year. But if I remember correctly, he's pitched a pretty good game in Arizona before.

Only a minor league contract so at least we didn't go overboard. Very low cost if it works out which I doubt it will. I guess it's better than the $35 million we're giving to Russ Ortiz which I doubt will work out either.

I agree. I mean yeah he didnt do so hot, but what do we need more than a bullpen right about now. This is a healthy start.

LOL - sorry, I may have overstated - it has seemed to my rowmates and me that an awful lot of pitchers come in and have the game of their careers against the DBacks the last two years. I know at one point we led in the number of games where we were shut out.
