Lefty, I think this is the same George Grande you were talking about from ESPN.

Got this from wikipedia:

George Grande (pronounced like the English word "grand") is an American sportscaster who hosted the first broadcast of SportsCenter on ESPN in 1979. In the early years of the network, he served as host of the baseball magazine program that evolved into the current Baseball Tonight program on ESPN.
Grande has been the TV play-by-play announcer for Major League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds since 1993 for Fox Sports Net, teaming with former player Chris Welsh to form the longest-running TV broadcasting partnership in team history. For reasons never explained, Grande reads daily promos for FSN's "Best...]Sports Show Period," omitting the "Damn" in the show's title.

Wow, nice to see him still doing sports.

Well I give up, I tried changing my MLB.com profile to some small city in Maine and it still wouldn't work. To hell with mlb.tv and to hell with Selig, the Commissioner from hell.

Man that sucks big time. I figured it probably wouldn't work because people would just change it all the time to beat the system and watch every game eventhough they want you to have games blacked out because they are bums. I cannot wait for the day that Selig is replaced as commissioner. The deal they agreed to with DirecTV is the reason why I have MLB.TV on the computer and not Extra Innings on Dish Network :bang:

Yeah I like him a lot. I didn't realize he's been around that long. Of course his days with ESPN were before my time so I guess that's why I didn't realize he used to work for them. I'm going to be honest, I don't like Brenneman very much, eventhough he is a former D-Backs announcer.

What's the zip code and I'll check what teams will get blacked out if you want. I think it's rediculous that they make you pay $90 or $120 for the season depending if you want 400k or 700k quality and then they black out all of the "local" team's games. I guess it's purpose is to watch all of the out of market games but still why not let people have the local games too. I wouldn't have bought it if I still couldn't watch Reds games on the TV on FSN Ohio since they are my blacked out team so it's really not that big of a deal to me but I can see where it would make people mad.

Finally DD crusies through an inning. However you can't be a fly ball pitcher in this park, you just can't

Hammock with a bloop double down the right field line. There's a start, let's get him around to score. We still have a chance.

Drew flies out to Jr. in right... I thought he had it. Hammock tags to 3rd. Callaspo up. Just put it in play and we can cut the lead in half. No one better than Callaspo to have up to put the ball in play.

I hate Selig so much, he is the worst sports commish ever. He ****** the game out to anyone who has enough money, Selling MLB extra innings to DirectV (I will never support DirectV and I urge you all not to, either but it's your choice.)

Hudson singles, now Byrnes is up. I would let Hudson try and steal second.

Man Byrnes was swinging for the big fly that AB but ends up grounding out. We cut the lead in half though.

Anyone know if they shoot off fireworks for D-Backs HR's? I know that's random but I've been wondering that all of the sudden lol. I don't remember them doing it when I went and there were 2 D-Backs HRs but that was back in '98 maybe they do now and it's hard to tell on TV.
