If you don't plan on playing out your contract, then don't sign it. It's that simple. Dansby is the only exception and he wants to cash in big time in free agency, which is why he won't sign anything with us right now on top of the whole 'we have no cap space' issue..that one is "kind of" a "big deal" regarding all of this.

Okay let me rephrase that. If you sign a contract, don't start crying about getting a new one until you've got a year or less left. DD complaining with 3 years left on his contract was laughable at best.

I don't agree with the way that he is handling this and I wish that he would take a queue from Adrian Wilson BUT these players have a limited time to make their money and when their skills diminish the teams have no problem telling the players that they won't respect the contract.
