Rank what you think not so much the top needs we have in the coming draft, but rather rank the positions that you think would have the greatest immediate impact on our team if we could plug a top draftee in there. For me I am thinking:

1. CB
2. Pass Rusher - DE/OLB
3. C/G
4. OT
5. S
6. 2nd coming of/replacement for Fitzgerald
7. Future QB
8. Top TE who is a deep threat and can block too
9. RB stud to replace DJ if/when he should go down & out

That's it. There are no QB, OL, DL that will be NFL ready to make an instant impact. Any other position would be a backup. IMHO

Pass rusher is kinda low on the priority list (for once). Maybe one in the later rounds for depth

1. ILB (Although I'm curious if Sio Moore can add the speed to this position we need, was impressed with him the last few games of the season.)
2. QBOTF
3. CB
4. Big WR
5. OLine depth

My ranking are with the assumption we resign our own. (Jones, Campbell, Jefferson, Swearinger)

I think Solomon Thomas will make his presence felt immediately.

Good topic Sissy.

I like RM's thought about what position player could have an impact this year. There are always exceptions to the rule but agree with his list.

WR Smoke may not find his 2nd gear again and Floyd needs replaced and Fitz....
ILB
CB
TE Receiving threat

RB Anytime DJ isn't on the field it makes are team weaker but he does need some rest now and again plus I'd use him more in the passing game a little less as a runner.

Safety is an interesting topic. Jefferson had an excellent year and BA said the team wants to re-sign him but he didn't mention Swearinger who I thought had a very good if not excellent year. Either way one of them has to be re-signed, if not both. If that doesn't happen then move Safety to the top of the list.
