But you can’t say anything about it because we should be thankful and ecstatic the team is doing so well the past handful of yearsThis immediately ran through my head when I heard this news.

Really? Which ones? Being honest here. Maybe the Rams beat-down was pretty satisfying but really struggling to remember others.
The great wins I remember are Rosen over the Packers, the NFC Championship game against Philly, the season-ending win against Minny, the 2015 playoff win at home against Green Bay, the Chargers win to earn the wild card in 98.
We didn’t even win a game to clinch a playoff spot.
Time for Wesley to show up early. If he comes in strong and kills it at camp, he can really bolster the WR corps. Dude had some good play last year. Hoping to see an improvement. If he does, we will be ok.

Yeah, he has a specific role and as the 5th WR, that's ok. He also has 2 or 3 big first down catches. I'll take 10 or so big plays a year from him and call that a success.Wesley had less than 24 yards a game starting. He had no good games. He had 3 TD's that were jump balls and any 6'4" WR should catch over a 5'11" DB.
I find it odd that people commentate ASFN postings on twitter.

We know who this is... lol

Don't know who Charles is, but definitely know who the others are!Super weird. Now I need to know who Charlie is.
Oh boy, not even close. Yeah, I think you're just a victim of recency bias with the Cards. You haven't been in it long enough to know. Not trying to cast aspersions on your fanhood or anything, but you just think of the now and the recent past. Watch some cardiac Chris Jacke or vintage Jake Plummer heroics or the NFC Championship game or...you get the hint...and then let's talk.I can understand why it was frustrating for about 2 days.
If people are still carrying it now and using it to fuel faux outrage about everything I'd suggest they see a shrink.
It was frustrating. It doesn't overshadow what was a generally fun and entertaining season with some of the greatest wins in Cards history. A season that shows promise for the future.
FWIW the only one that came to mind for me was the rams game because McVay has been Kliff’s daddy for so long (and now is again).Hmm lets see.
The complete stomping of the AFC champs in their own yard and shutting down Henry to beat them by 25.
The dominating win over the super bowl winning Rams at Sofi to beat them by 17.
The ass whopping of one of the pre season SB favorites by beating the Browns on the road by 23 with our HC missing.
Beating the Niners in Santa Clara by 14 with a backup QB.
All these games would probably reside in the top 25 Cardinal wins all time. And they happened in one season.

Mm, no. Appreciate a good win, for sure. Nothing last year is going into the top Cards games of all time pile.I didn't say there were no other great wins. But I think you are suffering the opposite. You can't accept that anything good could have happened recently.
I said "some of the greatest wins in Cards history" and they were. There were probably 4 games last year that would rank in the top 25 of entertaining, authoritative wins in Cards history.
Sure, they won't rank above a crucial playoff win, I wouldn't even rank any of them above the Packers playoff game in 2015. But they are there hovering towards the back of that group somewhere.
There are lots of other great wins, but 4 of them came last year for sure. We should appreciate them.
It's hilarious watching you backtrack. It will be a fun July thread nominating the top 25 wins in Cardinals history (or Arizona Cardinals history), but thinking that 16% of them came THIS YEAR — including a meaningless Week 6 win against a 3-2 Browns team — is among those wins is the absolute top of myopia.I didn't say there were no other great wins. Legit I never think about Andy Isabella unless it's mentioned on this board.Someone has to say it. If you had told me 2 days ago a WR on the Cards would be suspended for PED's, I would have guessed Isabella based on the pics of how ripped he is.
I would bet the line is probably +200What's the over/under of us going 3-3 the first 6 games this year?
The Hail Murray was great, but that wasn't last year.Really? Which ones? Being honest here. Maybe the Rams beat-down was pretty satisfying but really struggling to remember others.

It is all how it ends to me and the season ended in disaster. If a baseball team has a healthy hold on first place on August first and ends up in a one game Wild card Game and gets blown out is that success. Do you tell the fans to remember the great play in June & July? Of course you don’t.I can understand why it was frustrating for about 2 days.

It depends on which New York Mets fan you ask.It is all how it ends to me and the season ended in disaster. We were a 5-0 team going against a 3-2 team. We were favored by 3.5 points. Franchise-defining win there.
