Dear Cardinal Family, PLEASE HELP...

I'm in a spot. I went home last April to CT. to visit my Dad (75) and spend some quality time with my brother who I hadn't seen in (5) years. Had a GREAT time and returned to Charleston, S.C. right after Christmas. Expected to find work right away but NO success the past (3) weeks. Finally got a job yesterday but it won't start till beginning of March. $$'s gotten ridiculously tight. I should get a tax refund in a few weeks so that will help. Anyways, a friend offered me a chance to work for a few hours (10 -1) for ($50). But, You guessed it: THIS SUNDAY!! I'm grateful for the chance to work but I hate to miss any of the Super Bowl pre-game. I've been waiting pretty much my whole life for this. There's NO recording devices (vcr's/tivo's, etc. in the house) BUT there is a DVD player in the TV in my room. I'm hoping someone is going to DVD it so I don't miss out. So, I need your help, please. Like I said, things are getting better (THANK GOD!) and I will have some $$ I can chip back soon. THANKS for listening. YOU guys/gals are the BEST! Mark Is it Sunday yet?

YOU guys/gals are AMAZING!! Listen, "Twist" has offered to DVD the pre-game stuff for me (THANK-YOU! "Twist) so I think I've got it covered. I decided to just bite the bullet and work knowing that I was not going to miss out on anything. BUT I want to take a moment and THANK ALL of you for your offers to help. Ya know, when "Q" went down in New York there was genuine concern on this board. Some were praying, some were crying. ...And ALL of us were relieved when we heard he was going to be okay. I shared this with my brother (whom I have a GREAT relationship with) and he was like, "Dude, it's JUST a fan-board" and I was like, "NO! It's alot MORE than that. I've never met "Big Tony" yet felt his loss this past year. Others have lost friends and fellow die-hard fans like Tim. We've also celebrated new-life recently with Vince & family's new baby. ...And on it goes. We've been there for each other.

You guys/gals have made me feel welcome. Treated me like family. That's something that means ALOT to me. NOW...Let's go WIN a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!! Mark
