Now it could be poor QB play from Leinart. Which is obvious or it could be something else. Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until the QB play gets much better more consistently.

Not me. Boldin caught everything thrown his way -- Fitz should have also. And Boldin was dinged up for most of the second half, if not longer.

And if McAlister had been covering him -- same result. Because with Boldin it doesn't freaking matter who the opponent is or who is covering him. It just doesn't matter.

He is thee strongest, toughest, most dangerous receiver in the game today.

Actually Boldin did make a crucial drop on 3rd and 5.

Okay. I guess he and Fitz should equally share blame for the loss.

I know that's not what you meant. Was it?

No. I was pointing to the fact that Q did in fact drop a pass. His carried the same weight in the game as Fitz's..... very little. I just think this whole thread is quite silly.

Boldin had an easy drop today as well.

Fitz had two drops and the fumble, right?

YAC for Fitz? Tough catches?

Against BTL on the road, you can't have those mistakes.

Fitz didn't pull his own today.

It's pointless Chris. Some people just have to have a whipping boy, and right now it's Fitz.

Please enlighten on how Fitz is a whipping boy right now? he clearly isnt playing like Larry of old. If you cant see it then you are watching with blinders on. Hes been dropping passes all the way back to practice and pre-season.

Rough crowd. Fitz has done too much to get this abuse after a sub par game.

I was more upset with the special teams and all of the missed tackles.

Fitz is the man, he had a bad game big deal players do that. I think that if the whole rumor about him wanting out of AZ we wouldn't be having this discussion. People take that same rumor for the 50th time in the past year and I take that into account with his sloppy play today, and him walking off the field with his head down a few times, makes me question if he a) wants to be a Cardinal anymore and b) exactly how did those rumors get started.

I love Fitz but he doesn't look his usual stellar self this year. I hope he rights himself because if we let him go it will be a sad sad day for the Cards. To have two HOF recievers play their careers together here would be awesome and special. Like Stallworth and Swann, Q and Fitz can do a lot of special things for this organization if they stay together their whole career.

Because of all the mistakes made in today's game, he's the only one who got a "Dear..." letter.

He looked just fine with a confident and accurate QB didn't he?

Sure did thats why I stated earlier "i like him" and am "willing to give him the benefit of the doubt."

But that doesnt excuse the amount of dropped passes he has had throughout this year so far. That is so NOT LARRY! Kinda make one wonder.

I was there today & isolated on Fitz with my trusted binoculars. He did NOT have a great game & was openly pouting. There were times he barely got off the field because he was walking as opposed to running. They could have called 12th man on us a couple times because of his childish antics. Fitz & Boldin were both extremely frustrated with Leinart. All this being said, ST's (punt return & Racker's missed FG) & MISSED TACKLES were the biggest reason why we lost.

Boldin also drew a 15-yard taunting penalty for spiking the ball after his first TD reception. He should have known the zealous crew on duty today would call that. They were calling almost everything which was borderline today, except Killer Lewis' late hit on Troy Bieneman.

that was ridiculous officiating today. Even on Baltimore, they made absolutely ridiculous calls. The guy spun the ball after a first down and they called delay of game and then I saw Q do the same exact thing and no call. We actually got quite a few breaks today.

i think the biggest reason we lost this game is because our starting QB was completely overwhelmed and dug a hole. punt return, dropped passes and poor tackling all contributed.

Once you catch a ball, you should never, EVER allow a player to simply take it away. It's sickening. A fumble is one thing, a bobbled ball that gets taken away is one thing, but to allow a player to simply TAKE IT from you? Inexcusable. That's not a great defensive play. That's a horrendous offensive lapse.

Carry on.
