There were two late losses at the Giants that were brutal. One on a Matt Bahr FG, and one with Brad Daluiso kicking a 54 yarder after they opened up the tunnel for each wind-aided benefits (I am convinced!)...ugh...

I remember that! I was soooooo PO'ed. I was probably 12 or 13 and I just couldn't believe that the Giants could "cheat" like that and get away with it.

I think it was Leonard Davis that had a false start that resulted in a 10 second runoff to end the game. We were on the Ram's 5 yard line and ended up losing the game 12-17.

Cards promptly fumble the ball back to the Rams and lose setting off a chain of events that ended up with the Cards in the Super Bowl.

I don't think so. That was during Warner's suck vs St.Louis period. He had 3INts in that game.

Bulger fumbled with 2:03 left and the Cards got the ball at the Rams 30. After Edge gained 12 yards Warner fumbled the ball back with 1:46 left and the Rams ran out the clock.

I could have sworn we got the ball back with a handful of seconds left. My wife and I had started to walk out and we paused on the stairs to wait and see what happened.

We did. The Rams punted with 5 seconds left but the Cards were called for being offside and Bulger then took a knee to run out the clock.

There's not enough time or space on the internet to mention all of the embarrassing Cardinal moments I've endured in my time on this earth. I'll give you 3 though.

1. Adrian Murrell running roughshod over us leading an atrocious Jets team to a victory at Sun Devil. Seth Joyner gets kicked out and I was relegated to the back of the sports bar as my two boys watched their teams in meaningful games.(Eagles & Boys)

2. The Tito Paul game. We lose to the Vikings as Chris Carter abuses Tito Paul. He cries in the locker room after the game.

3. The game against the Redskins where we were a game or so out of first place, and we thought we were going to do something in RFK,and got thourougly trounced.

Mine was the week following the Bears debacle on Monday night in '06. We played a winless Raider team, and I was sure that after giving the Bears all they could handle(as well as giving them the W), we would respond vs the Raiduz, but no a 20-9 result for a loss. It was a bad week in my personal life as well, maybe that's why it stands out.

Yes Osbern! That was a tough one also. I thought we'dat least show up. I was ready to see the end of DG after that one.

how the hell that wasn't a MAJOR block in the back by Woodley on Hightower on that Harrison run is still beyond me... as is the fact that we had a ton of guys either surrounding him or right on his heels who couldn't push him out of bounds. ugh.

This is just one of quite a few NO-calls that (what a surprise) went in the Steelers favor that evening. The NFL heads should be ashamed of themselves for the favoritism that is shown to certain teams and the lack of any backlash or acknowledgment of it.
I get it, its human nature to lean a certain direction due to preconceived ideas but to not do ANYTHING about it even when it is admitted (ref from the Sea. vs. Pit. Super Bowl) is just plain fraudulent.
With no justice, the only way to change things as a have not is to continually whip the crap out of all the haves until perceptions change. Therefore I say: GO

Wow, just read up on Bailey. Damn 43 years old, that is so sad. I still remember being the lone Cards fan (shocker) in a sports bar in Atlantic Highlands, NJ when Johnny took a punt return to the house at Washington (I believe). He had some great moves, I was talking some mad junk (everyone just assumed I had been overserved).
