I'm into it, but don't talk about it. There is A LOT more to it than going around in circles. Attending the actual race is an awsome experience. I might take my Dad to the Checker 500 in Nov.

Take it easy on 'em bro. The sport is just reaching out here lately as of the last decade or so. It ain't gonna grab everybody's attention overnight. And yea, going to the race is addicting. It's an adrenaline rush like you've never felt before in your life. Everybody whether they are a fan or not, if they go to a race once, they will be there twice!!!

I know it's embarassing, but we're all friends here. You can talk about it with us, you can talk about anything with us. It's a safe place.

"I do not own a gun, let alone enough guns to necesitate an entire rack"

Pir Sucks

After I attended my very first, (and very last) race at P.I.R., I can understand why so many of you hate on NASCAR. Hell, if that was the only track in America, I'd hate it too!!! But, that ain't the REAL Nascar!! Watch Bristol, Daytona, Talladega, Atlanta, Charlotte, Darlington, Rockingham, watch some of those tracks some time. Hell, go to some of 'em, or one of 'em at least!! That's the REAL Nascar, where it was born and bred!! This PIR track here is PATHETIC  You may catch me at Vegas or at Fontana in the near future, I'll at least give each of those 1 shot, but NEVER at PIR :thumbdown

What make it suck so bad? I understand the draw of Bristol, the history of Daytona (as well as the speed their and in Talladega) - but what does Atlanta or Charlotte have that PIR doesn't?
