Sad news. RIP, Denny.

Probably left us the best post game press conference meltdown in team history.

Gotta give Green credit. ARZ didn't quite turn the corner during his tenure but his first draft laid the foundation for the eventual SB run in 2009.

A great coach, especially back in his MIN days.

What in the actual hell is going one these last couple of days? Watt hurt, Bell suspended, Denny dies. What's next? Favre coming out of retirement?

Rest in Peace, Denny. You started the turnaround in AZ. I am shocked and saddened by this.

Wow! RIP coach

That draft class of Fitz, Los, DD, Smith was very likely the greatest in Big Red history & along with his acquisition of #13 ultimately led to us making SB 43

Sad. He may have been past his prime at the time, but he was a key piece of that turnaround.

Pretty crazy that both Buddy Ryan and Dennis Green die within a couple of weeks. RIP

Too young but this sort of thing doesn't surprise me now. One thing that has come out in the last 10 years or so is just how many hours these guys work. Gruden was working 16-18 hour days as the Raiders coach for example. It's a big reason why NFL coaches burn out. I know Denny has been out of coaching for years but IIRC he was one of those guys known to put in long hours when he was with the Vikings.

Sad he was way too young.

I think Denny helped to push our franchise in the right direction. Him and Graves actually had some good draft classes and built our core for the 08 and 09 seasons, our most successful ever up until this point. Thanks Denny for helping to right the ship.

RIP Denny, thanks for adding a little legitimacy to this franchise at a time it was sorely needed. And thanks for Fitz too.
