I think Denny helped to push our franchise in the right direction. Him and Graves actually had some good draft classes and built our core for the 08 and 09 seasons, our most successful ever up until this point. Thanks Denny for helping to right the ship.

Gotta give Green credit. ARZ didn't quite turn the corner during his tenure but his first draft laid the foundation for the eventual SB run in 2009.

A great coach, especially back in his MIN days.

I fully believe, that while Dennis Green never was able to organize the Cardinals into a winner, his drafts were an the key part of this organization turning around and becoming what it is today.

RIP to the Green family, and to Denny himself.

Hopefully he can go fishing all he wants now.

Pretty much the entire 2006 draft was a dumpster fire. It was a terrible draft year all around.

Many have already noted, but Denny Green played a big role in great #AZCardinals 2004 draft: Fitz, Dansby, Dockett, Antonio Smith.

He also brought in Bert Berry, Edgerrin James, Chike Okeafor, and Kurt Warner. Also, with Denny at the helm, Matt Leinart actually look like an NFL QB.

Which as we found out during the Whiz era, was in hindsight a pretty big contribution.


Denny could have done nothing in his career here other than insist that we draft Fitz and he would still be an incredibly important piece to the rebirth of this franchise. Who knows what Graves would have done without him here clamoring for Larry. But he also brought in all the other guys, and gave Dockett a chance when others were shying away from him.

Very football smart Denny was. One of my fav coaches. He brought in Warner when everyone didn't like the move. He drafts Larry and was accused of drafting a homer to him.

Completely agree. He contributed to this franchise positively in several ways, but none more monumental than the drafting of Larry. I cant even imagine this franchise without Larry Fitzgerald in it. Thank you Denny!
