The Denver Broncos brought back five of their in-house free agents this spring. Six others left the team to join other clubs.

On offense, the team let running back Javonte Williams walk and he signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Denver also lost wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey to the New York Giants (and the Broncos did try to re-sign him). Backup quarterback Zach Wilson also left for a better opportunity with the Miami Dolphins.

On defense, Denver lost starting inside linebacker Cody Barton to the Tennessee Titans. The Broncos added linebacker Dre Greenlaw during free agency, upgrading the position.

On special teams, Denver lost punter Riley Dixon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and cornerback/gunner Tremon Smith to the Houston Texans. The Broncos have since signed Matt Haack and special teams wide receiver Trent Sherfield.
