On that dysfunctional putrid team?? Seems to me that it makes his accomplishments all the more astounding... just saying.

How were the 2007 Browns dysfunctional or putrid? Jamal Lewis was the best player on that team.

What was his accomplishment? He played well against a 5-11 Baltimore team, a 1-15 Miami team, a 3-13 Rams team, and an 8-8 Houston team.

Here's the problem with this analysis... you could flip this and say 2/3 of Anderson's game were either really mediocre or very good.

Bottom line... we're screwed either way! YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

Of course, Matt Leinart looked good against a 9-7 Kansas City team (91.7), a 3-13 Detroit team (101.7), an 8-8 Rams team (100.3), and looked solid against the eventual NFC Champions. Then he had a fair performance the next year against Seattle, who eventually won the division.

And since Week 16's excellent 8-17 passing performance against the Oakland Raiders last season, Derek Anderson posted passer ratings of 10.5, 36.4, 51.0, 15.1, 68.8, 75.4, 53.4, 57.1, 83.3, and 71.6 in his last 10 starts. So we have that to look forward to.

Forgive me; I was copying back and forth a bunch of numbers. At least some of us look to support our opinions with facts, instead of denying what we've seen with our own eyes: Derek Anderson is not a very good quarterback.

But you could sing along to all of them.

(if they have more than one)

Maybe. Maybe not. But either way you wouldnt want to be in the room or car when I was doing it. I suck at singing! ;)

I thought I saw an "Asia" poster hanging in your garage next to your Fitz Fathead - but in might have been Coldplay, sorry.

Anyway, DA loves Asia, that's how I know he sucks too.

Nope it was Brittany Spears! :mulli:

No, that's how I know you're gay.

Oh wait, I just remembered you carry a weapon - I take it all back. :D

Is "booked" what they're calling it now? To the best of my knowledge, everybody in town has booked Paris at least once.

And as far booking me goes, I'm still happily married, but thanks for the offer anyway.

:D

who's denying this with Anderson? The dude has had about 5 pretty good games, a handful of mediocre ones and has looked pretty awful otherwise... pretty much just like Lienart.

And that's the bottom line... a lot of us think we don't have a good quarterback no matter who's playing.

I don't think there's ANYONE saying Anderson is a very good quarterback so what's your point?

you know what the problem with simply looking at W/Ls and QB rating are? You're able to completely skew numbers. Besides that, why did you just completely ignore a game where he lead the Browns to a 33-30 win over a division title winning Seattle team with 364 yards with a 60% passing completion percentage with 1 pick and no TDs. Was it simply because you were looking at passer rating as the end all be all of whether or not he played well? I mean, in a game where his team scored 30 points and he threw for a ton of yards on decent completion percentage, that's a bad game because he got them close enough in scoring range to allow Jamal Lewis to score 3 TDs from inside the 2 yard line?

Again, I don't think Anderson's very good... but you're skewing numbers and flat out ignoring games where he beat good teams or played ok and lost close games to good teams.

I just clicked on TMZ. Cocaine. Nice "come hither" look in the booking photo.

(You know she wore a Fitz jersey to our Superbowl. I'd have asked for her opinion on the whole QB thing.)
