SALT LAKE CITY — The Detroit Red Wings lost goaltender Petr Mrazek less than two minutes into their game Monday.

Mrazek started the Wings' first-ever game against the Utah Hockey Club at Delta Center. At 1:36, there was a collision at his net, with Dylan Guenther making first contact and Barrett Hayton also catching Mrazek.

That Mrazek felt something was wrong was in no doubt: He immediately skated to the Wings' bench.

That pushed Alex Lyon into first game since March 6, when he played at Little Caesars Arena against Utah.
