It's not too early. It's six days away now.

USC 24
ASU 17

Talent for talent, they just have more.
Big game experience, they have more of it.
Coaching. Even.
Home team. ASU Big Edge.
Cheerleaders. USC (not even close)
Weather. Unknown.

I think we win this. They aren't as good as Oregon and being at home will be a huge advantage for us. We can't be terrible EVERY first quarter, so I expect a better effort for this one.

Another advantage: When I've been to a game this year, my team has never lost. I might be at this one.

The best kicker in the nation will put them away

Just a bad feeling...I hope I continue to be wrong about such things.

Cheerleaders. USC (not even close)

However, the ASU dance team beats the USC cheerleaders. Unless you have a sweater fetish like Edward D Wood Jr, in which case I can't argue with your preference.

Anyway, I gots to believe so- ASU 31, USC 24

It's supposed to be warm and *windy* on Thanksgiving. Like 70 and ... 25 to 30 MPH winds.

I saw an ASU shirt once that said, "Trojan Busters" and had a picture of Sparky busting through the end of a condom.

Nasser, I was about to beg you to go to this one.

Hoover, I'll take a closer look at the ASU dance team next time I get to see them. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm a proud member of the dirty old men club.

Never agreed with you more. The talent on our dance team is ridiculous!

The only thing I'mn worried about is our offensive line vs their freakish defensive line. They don't blitz alot because their DL is so good and that says a lot.

Back later for a prediction but I think if it turns into a defensive battle (which is very likely because Booty and their offense sucks) we'll win

Why's that? :)

Aren't their linebackers some of the best too? I'm worried for Carpenter. This experienced o-line needs to show up. They don't want to end their football careers letting their QB be sacked a record number of times.

I think we pull this one out because we're at home. I think it will be very close, with the home field advantage putting us over the top. But this could go either way! It'll be fun to watch! Unfortunately I'm going up north for Thanksgiving, I'm already regretting not being able to be at this game!

Since when is weather an "unknown" here in the Valley??

Talent-wise, ASU is seriously lacking and on that basis alone, should receive a serious spanking. Who's the back-up to Rudy? 'Cuz whoever he is, he best be ready to see some game action as Rudy is about to receive a serious beat-down...

Additionally, if ASU pulls their habitual not show up for the first half routine, this game will be over by mid-2nd quarter...

BUT - this is why they play the game... ASU is home. They are playing very well. And if by some miracle they can keep this game within a TD going into the 3rd quarter, I really like their chances...

Should be a fun game. Wish I were going...

Where do I get me one of those?! I want one so bad!!

I think some fraternity made them up.

I was at this one:

http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/102324

ASU put a beating on SC that night. It would have been 20-0 but the scumbags got a long pass play for a TD with 47 seconds to play. ASU held Charles White to about 10 yards. ASU knocked the SC center out of the game on the first play and the backup couldn't get the ball to the QB. I think they fumbled about 5 times on bad snaps. I couldn't talk for 3 days after the game.

The backup is Danny Sullivan.

The game comes down to One thing - How is Rudy going to handle running for his life 2 seconds after the ball is snapped. If he can make good decisions - ASU will win this game by 7+. If he runs into his blockers, throws interceptions, or fumbles, ASU loses 14+.

I am optimistic.
