Booker scored a franchise-record 70 points, obliterating his previous career high of 39, a mark he reached after three quarters.

Booker’s 70-point performance is the 11th in NBA history and the first since Kobe Bryant scored 81 on the Raptors in 2006. He’s the sixth player in NBA history to reach the mark.

Anyone who watched the game saw history. What a great night.

There should be plenty of video replays for those who didn't get a chance to watch it live.

FoxSportsAZ is still playing highlights of the game. Channel 686 on DirecTV.

The NBA 70 point Club: Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor, David Robinson, and Devin Booker! Only 6 members in NBA history!

Also, most points scored against the Celtics at home!

Booker now owns the most points scored in a half, previously owned by Eddie Johnson. Devin also owns the most points in a game previously owned by Tom Chambers. Earlier in the year in Mexico City Devin broke the most points in a quarter previously owned by Eddie Johnson.

What a performance by DBook. Even though the circumstances were ripe for it to happen, Devin still had to make it happen. That says something about his future in the NBA. I hope we'll have a starting Point Guard who knows how to use a future superstar Shooting Guard.

Jae Crowder is so pathetic instigating on NBA instagram. And these random fans saying how unimpressive 70 points are , how padded the stats are in a loss.

Guy had 70 along with SIX assists and shot over 50%. It was not even like he was hogging. There were many posessions in the 4th where he did not even touch the ball mainly thanks to Barbosa.

My son and I kept saying not to pass it to Barbosa, who kept getting shots blocked, turning over the ball, and missing lay ups! As good as Booker was playing Barbosa seemed to be laying an egg. LOL.

I'm looking at the draft. If the Suns draft a PG then I wonder if Booker can play SF. I think we know Bledsoe can play with a PG. Warren could be the sixth man. I'm just trying to get the best players on the court.

The idea situation would be to keep Booker at SG but I want to draft BPA as well.

Any thoughts if the Suns drafted a PG and do not trade Bledsoe?

@Mainstreet, I think at least for a year you keep Bledsoe just to see how the PG you drafted develops. Earlier this year a former GM was on a radio station here in Phoenix, and he said basically the same thing. Plus with rookie contracts now, there's no immediate need to ditch Bledsoe's contract. I think you take the best guy in the draft no matter what. Worst case if you don't want him, trade him for the guy you want, or next best guy, etc.

I'm not anxious to trade Bledsoe. We can see how the Suns play without him. I'm just working on a scenario for the Suns to play their best players if they draft a PG under BPA scenario. Obviously Booker is not going to sit. Just curious, do you think Booker can play some SF? He is probably doing this already in certain situations.

It so much fun to think about these situations as the draft gets closer.

Please don't tell me it's still in June. ;)

Amazing performance.

Sucks that these Celtics players are such haters and were bashing Booker in the postgame interviews rather than just being happy for a 21 year old kid who had a great game.

During the game it looked like most of them were actually rooting for Devin. A couple came out and congratulated him immediately when the game ended. Gerald Green did say something, because Eddie Johnson made a comment that Green needed to be quiet. The fans in the stadium where cheering him on. They waived off a three Devin made and the fans actually booed.

First off Amazing game by Booker. Second I would rather trade Bledsoe than try and force Booker to SF. He is comfortable and excelling at SG.

IT said something like Suns are aiming for the lottery while Celtics are aiming for championship and then Crowder clowned him on Instagram.

The only Celtics player who gave Booker his due was Young and that might've been only because of the Kentucky connection.

Doesn't it just feel like a Suns type of move to force a player to move to a different position rather than stay at the one that he already excels at?

How does he have a PER under 14 for the season?
Because PER is affected by assists, turnovers and rebounds. All things that Booker struggles with right now. If it was simply based off of shooting/scoring it would be looking better.

Tonight last year, Kobe signed his shoes for Dbook saying "be legendary". Kobe #13 pick, Dbook #13, both same size, both youngest players in the draft, both with dads that played in the NBA.

Also, Books night overshadowed Calliparis Kentucky win who didnt even start Book when he was there.

Love Kobe more than anyone but this could get interesting...
