I wish there were a category for super-sub. Craig Counsell deserves it.

Personally, if I had a vote, I'd choose him for shortstop. For the same reason that he replaced Womack at SS. But I understand why Tony Womack got it.

Counsell was 10x better than Womack. Not even close.

We’re talking 22 career WAR player compared to 2.

Yeah... but Womack did this:

When he came up I was just hoping he wouldn't hit into a double play... instead he hit that double, I remember running around the living room and shouting that I'd never bag on him again. Gonzo might have hit the game winner but that hit by Womack was the most clutch moment in Dbacks history.

It's a solid list but I do have one issue. I know Upton is not a popular guy around here, but Ziegler over him seems rather spiteful.

EDIT: It's late... position by position, oops. Only 3 OF. Oops. Still though, Ziegler stands out.

Maybe for the 25 year team they can do a 25 man roster. Counsell would certainly make it as the utility guy.

Yes. And the counter to YankeeFan whining that the Dbacks got lucky with a bloop hit off Rivera - they always forget this hit
