Or they could have been sellers and still sucked on 3 years. No guarantees either way.

Enjoy the ride.

True of course. However, I wouldn’t liked our odds of contending over that stretch much better had we been sellers.
Hey, I’ll be cheering the team on as much as anyone either way. So yes, I will indeed enjoy the ride! Even if it ends with hitting the brick wall of the Dodgers once again...

I saw an interview with a GM on ESPN once and he said the only reason you develop prospects is so you can trade them for players that can help you win.

How many players on the current roster were actually selected by the Dbacks in the top 3 rounds?

That had to be a gm of a Yankees, cubs, Red Sox, dodgers type team. Smaller clubs have to thrive on developing from within.

I think he was from the Indians.
It was a while back.

With Pollack and Corbin leaving, I say the game-plan should be to lock up JD Escobar and trade Lamb for whatever you can grab in return!

Yes and yes. Right now, Peralta and Escobar are the only D-backs hitters we can count on.

This was brought up on Burns & Gambo yesterday. I wonder what the market is for Lamb. He’s still young enough, an All Star last year, has some pop and under control until after 2020 season. But he’s been injury prone and inconsistent the last 2 years.
