I was happy to see the D'backs go back to manufacturing some runs as the game progressed. And to see Pennington break his 0-11 at the right time.

We'll have to see how Heath Bell turns out. At least if he bombs, we're still in good shape in the bullpen.

And how about Josh Collmenter in his role as long relief. 1 run in the final 5 innings with 5 strikeouts. He and Pennington -- each Mr. Extra Innings.

I made it to only the 10th innings in front of the TV. I had to get up at 5:15 for work.

I would have been pissed too and I was watching from a comfortable couch.

Ha, luckily I cross two streets and I'm home, otherwise I'm probably not staying after midnight. It was a fun crowd, with about a quarter of the fans they were making more noise than earlier in the night.

Yeah by the 12th inning it was a sparse but active crowd. I'm more than a little jealous to hear that you live so close to a Major League Baseball park. My favorite vacation involved renting a hotel room for a month just a block or so from Anaheim stadium. We (my wife and 4 other couples) walked to the game every day they were in town and when they weren't, we often drove the 40 miles or so to watch the Dodgers play. As a lifelong baseball fan with no hometown team to cheer for until the Dbacks came along, it was the best month of my life.

Sounds like fun...I love living downtown, and I have family that works for the team, so I also get free tix to every game. I'm going to try to hit about 30-40 games this year.

Especially nice this time of year with the roof and panels open, very hard to beat.
