Estes is driving me crazy. You don't have to nibbble corners and be cute when you've got a 6-1 (correct that) 8-1 lead. Just throw strikes and keep the bullpen off the field as long as possible. Garcia's got an .077 average and he's pitching him like he's Barry Bonds.

If he takes another batter to 3-2 I'm gonna lose it.

As I was getting ready to comment about giving up a walk with an 8-1 lead, Garcia takes Estes deep to LF; D'Backs lead 8-3 in the 7th.

Brian Bruney freaking SUCKS

Again, with 2 outs, he walks a guy, gives up a double, a homer, and another walk. Equals 3 runs given up.

Bruney is usless.

No lead is safe when the Dbacks bullpen arrives and every team in the big leagues knows it.

They've gotta get rid of this guy.

WTF is up with Bruney?? Great one day, crappy the next - - oh yeah, that describes our bullpen in general! 8-3 lead is now 8-6, with the tying run at the plate in the 8th.

After he gave up the HR he's looking at the pen to see if someones up. Then he's lookin out there after every pitch. "This guy has no confidence," he said with his finger and thumb in the shape of an "L" on his forehead.

Bruney is horrible. Send him down to Tucson and bring up Lightenberg. Lyon gets out of the jam. Need some insurance runs.

Brandon Lyon stepped up again and gets another save. At least we got something out of the Schilling trade. Diamondbacks win and sweep the Padres.

Bruney shouldn't have been in the game as long as he was. His fastball was topping out at 91 (most fastballs the scoreboard clocked between 88-90) and his off speed stuff was nowhere close to the plate.
