WBC lightweight champion David Diaz refused to let Erik Morales make history at his expense, denying his bid to become the first Mexican to win world titles in four weight classes with a thrilling unanimous decision on Saturday night. The fight is likely the last for Morales, an almost certain Hall of Famer who had said he would retire if he lost.
