... near the end of the game, after Antron's INT? If anyone has a DVR, you could see McFadden leading a chant; The entire D was there huddled together, crouched on their knees, perhaps saying (a prayer?)

NBC cameras had that on for a good 10-15 sec. That nearly brought a tear to my eye. This game was won 100% by the D, no doubt! That is kinda like a once-in-a-season type of moment, let's hope this momentum carries over for the rest of the season!

Now I can't stop laughing about the whole "Antron" thing. Damn it feels good to win.

McFadden had a very good game today. He especially stepped it up once DRC came off the field

I saw it too. I was surprised to see McFadden leading it and not a long tenured defensive leader like A-Dub. It was a great sight to see.

I love how even Al Michaels slipped up tonight and called him Antron. Its like he's a gemini, everytime he makes a bonehead play its Antrel, but Antron is going to the pro bowl lol!!

Oh and yeah that huddle up by McFadden and the D was pretty epic. It reminded me of Dansby in the locker room after the playoff win against atlanta when he huddled up the team and said nobody can beat us.

Great night to be a cards fan

Any of you guys have a DVR able to rewind and hear what was being said in that huddle?

If the D can keep up this type of intensity for the rest of the season, we can definitely put alot of weight in that huddle (and last night's game) as the turning point for this D.

Antron. I liked seeing the huddle by the D. Even the hurt guys came over to be a part of it. Loved McFadden's intensity leading it. The D is a unit now.

Bridges came over to be a part of it and I was yelling at him to stay out of the defensive only prayer. lol

Let us not forget that goal line stand at the one yard line against the Texans. The image of our player laying on his stomach in the end zone after that stop is forever burned into my memory. He was pounding the ground with his fist. The defense just did not show up today.

Excellent call, it almost got a little dusty in the room for me too. You could tell how much this one meant to the entire team and the coaching staff. For all the years of laughable horror we've all dealt with, this win felt really special. WHIS NEEDS TO BE EXTENDED, the changes that he brought to the team just can't be quantified.

I have to say, as corny as it sounds, I was very moved when I saw this. I thought, "Oh my God, we're a team!"

Prior to getting on the knee -- when they were just huddled around -- McFadden was telling them something -- and you could tell by the look on McFadden's face, and how everyone was listening, he was making an important point.

Would love to know what McFadden was saying.
