You know it's a big deal when Bill Nye gets involved !! :D

Bill Nye 'The Science Guy' Reacts to Bill Belichick's Response to Deflategate

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...um=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national

A day after Belichick offered a quasi-scientific explanation for how the balls ended up deflated to illegal levels that unsurprisingly did not implicate the organization in any wrongdoing, scientist Bill Nye has essentially refuted the coach's claims.

"What he said didn't make any sense," Nye told ABC News.

Pats' Brady says 'feelings hurt' amid 'Deflategate' scrutiny

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/pats-b...amid-deflategate-scrutiny-174237876--nfl.html

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who will face the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, said on Monday his feelings have been hurt during the NFL's investigation into his team's use of deflated balls.

With many onlookers wondering whether the quarterback played a role in the matter to gain a competitive edge in the Patriots' AFC championship win, Brady has said all along he had nothing to do with the matter.

"It's all speculation," Brady said during his Monday morning appearance on Boston radio station WEEI-FM. "I've tried to wrap my head around it, too. I've done that and I'm trying to move past that, because I continue to try to rehash things.

"I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me, and my feelings got hurt. Then I moved past it, because it's not serving me.

Good coaching.

So he was better at coaching against fumbles after they stopped taping people? But they won more before when they were taping people.

Certainly could be coincidence or some revolutionary new technique to avoid fumbles but it sure looks intriguing given when it started right after the rule that gave them the ability to bring their own footballs.

Patriots can't be happy. The locker room attendant is obviously incompetent. 11 of 12 footballs doctored is just not going to cut it in the NFL. You need to be able to doctor 12 out of 12 to cheat on the NFL level. :D

It looks to me that they found somebody to take the fall.

I'm sure there's still many here who think it's no big deal even though they stole the balls out of the refs locker room. ;)

If this video exits Bellicheat & Brady should be suspended all over the 2015 season as well as losing draft pick(s)

Belichick just dropped a Mona Lisa Vito reference during his press conference. Lmao stating to like this guy.

That might be one of the best references of all time. You know he was eating his breakfast watching a rerun of My Cousin Vinnie and was inspired. He probably laughed a tiny grunt of a laugh when he thought about it.

Wow is right.
Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 1m1 minute ago
Robert Kraft said the league should apologize to his team if it’s proven that his team had no wrongdoing. Wow.

On the other hand, The NFL should strip craft of his franchise if you can be proven they were cheating

FOX has a story out now asking if the NFL set up the Patriots. That is they had been getting complaints from other teams including the Colts during the season and so they predetermined they were going to check the balls at halftime and catch them in the act/

The obvious question being should they wait until halftime of the AFC title game to check if they have reason to believe the Pats have been doing it for years.

The NFL has let this thing play out along the lines of the honor code, ie they let the teams provide the footballs.

Traditionally if you are guilty of an honor code violation that is the equivalent of being tossed out of whatever organization you are in.

Technically they could IMO dissolve the franchise for this IMO.

I know that sounds absurd but logically if this was say an Air Force or Navy Cadet their career in the military would be over forever.

The principles don't change just because this is a football team.

A few draft picks is silly for this, way too easy.

The fine should be a percentage of the net worth of the organization, a percentage that hurts a ton.

5 10 15 up to 25%.

If they are guilty of this then I think draft picks are not bad enough for this, cheating should be stomped on hard enough so that even with the low odds of getting caught it still makes it a bad idea.

The lead up to the Super Bowl shouldn't be about a trivia infraction. The league (read Roger Goodell) is ending the season the same way they began it, mired in a mess of their own making. It's time for a new commissioner.
