Did Freddie Jones get hosed by the Pro Bowl voters?

Shockey: 48 grabs for 535 yards, 2 td's, 29 first downs
Crumpler: 44 grabs for 552 yards, 3 td's, 26 first downs
Jones: 55 grabs for 517 yards, 3 td's, 19 first downs

Jones didn't have as many first downs, but he also had zero fumbles.

Shockey only played in 9 games, which is amazing considering his numbers.

Truth be told, I'd love to have Crumpler or Shockey over Jones.

That's not a slam to Jones--the guy can play; but I just like both Crumpler and Shockey better.

I agree. I don't care for the man, but he's a kick arse football player.

We need some 'tude infused into the Cardinals organization in the offseason. I don't think we can continue to shy away from guys that might not tow the party line.

Shockey seems to be a "cancer" waiting to happen. I don't follow the Giants that much anymore, but I recall Shockey dropping a touchdown pass and laughing about it, like it was no big deal. Soon after the whole team seemed to tank. I'm sure it wasn't all his fault, but he seems a little like a young Randy Moss, he'll play when he wants.

Jones fits the Cards better because he is a good blocker and has great hands. IMO, Jones is the better all-around player and very reliable.

Yes, he should have made it to the Pro Bowl.
