The Saints run defense was similar to our own. The actually gave up .1 more yards per carry, but actually played worse offenses.

Norman Hand is a 4 million dollar (or whatever he is getting paid) Barron Tanner. If we had made this trade, I would feel like we got jobbed again.

Krang,

Here is the Graves quote from AZCentral

"To be honest with you, I'd rather see us cut him before we do that," said Rod Graves, the team's vice president for football operations. "I wouldn't feel good about (trading) a guy I believe can still play in this league and giving him up for a seventh-round pick."

Tell me, what do we get if we cut him? If we do not get any takers are we going to keep him? What is Graves saying here. He does not make sense to me.

If they had made this trade the forces of darkness would have cranked up the Graves got robbed machine.

He didn't make the trade so it's the Graves dosen't know what he's doing angle..

We have never had a general manager before except for Buddy Ryan that actually called the shots... Lets let the man field a team before lighting the torches and collecting the pitch forks.

Well, think about it......don't a lot of running backs get injured in camp? Maybe he thinks that he can get more out of a team that has an injury and needs a starting caliber runningback.

A 7th rounder is nothing of consequence....look at most of them and you will see that 95% of them aren't NFL players.
