Nope. Johnson is still the better one... we will find out next week against an even tougher defense.

Al Johnson played just as well when he started before his injury. Johnson will be the starter once again when he is healthy. What Lyle playing well means is that Johnson doesnt have to be rushed back from his injury and makes Leckey even more of an afterthought.

Well, right now we have 2 rookies and 1 second year player on this line. If they can keep them together it could be special.

Sendlein was terrific today. Johnson still gets the nod, IMO, because he's a little more physical. And, has more experience.

Still, considering how thin we used to be at center, it's nice to see us stacked 3, even 4, deep at that spot.

Birth to 32, Phoenix. Now, enemy territory.
I'm happily stunned by the OL play.

A rookie at C, a 2nd year player at RG, and a rookie at RT. 4/5ths of the OL are basically new, and Edge rolls for 128 yards and Leinart doesn't get sacked. So far, Grimm is worth every penny.

Mr. Bidwill, you get what you pay for!

Its so crazy, but the O-line has made me so proud in the running game, Watching a real O-line makes life so much easier

I wonder if any other NFL team has had two players starting on the offensive line who went to high school in the same town as the NFL team plays. Great game by both Duce and Lyle.

Was also great to see the punter actually want and make a tackle on special teams. What an effort by Barr. Looks like he and Rackers are both not just klickers but football players. That is what drove me nuts with player, he would not have even made an effort to tackle.

If Lyle is that good, imagine what we could have done with the 7M in extra cap space this year.

We found a real OLine coach.
The question will be, can they keep him? Because if the Cards OL keeps peforming like it is he will be in hot demand for a HC job next year. The good thing is, hopefully, he established a work ethic and system that will last after he's gone.

Isn't Sendlein for the Valley and a Cardinal fan like Lutui. How motivated would you be to play for your childhood favorite team. I know if I was good enough to be in the NFL I would try my damned-est to get onto the Cardinal squad.

I don't know if Lyle was a Cardinals fan as a teenager. His dad played for the Vikings and one year with Miami.

It is great to see the fans high on Latui because he is one of us. The guy just looks like he really enjoys playing for Arizona which is very refreshing after all the clowns like Rice and TJones who never were happy playing for the Cards.

Wow talk about finding a gem. Hell of a game Lyle!

How awesome is this: 2 rookies starters and we still had a 128 rusher. Not to mention that Lutui really has less than a year of starting experience. It looks like we have a nice young nucleous on the OL now.

Whatever. Whomever gives us the best chance of winning should be our starter. At the very least, it looks as though we're at least 2-deep in quality centers.

I like it.

Totally agree

Johnson is much better that Lyle. However it's great to have some depth for once.
