Reportedly on the block. Clashing with teammates is probably not going to up his value but I know PHX was interested in him a couple of years ago and probably would have taken him at #13 if his stock didn't propel him to #4.

Supposedly a trade with NY fell through between CLE and NY for Shumpert who is also coveted by PHX or was.

Mind you I like the Green / Goodwin combo at the SG but Waiters could fit at the SF position. I would not give up much for him as it looks like CLE may be desperate to rid themselves of the locker room cancer.

If the Suns situation with Beasley wasn't fresh in my mind, I'd have some interest. I'm not sure about the Cavaliers in general. I think with the new Suns team we are learning the importance of team chemistry. I don't I want to mess that up, so I think I would pass. Just curious, I wonder if Bledsoe is happy being a Sun although this is not the type trade I would be looking for.

Waiters is short for a sg, don't think he could play sf.

Guy sounds like a real piece of crap. In a players only meeting he bitched about not getting the ball more (takes 13 shots a game, shoots 38%) and then had a meeting with management where he complained that Irving loafs on defense and stays in the game but when Waiters does not try on defense they pull him.

Seriously... talk about a cancerous loser.

Waiters said that Irving and Thompson are playing buddy ball. Not that he should get the ball more.

And the other thing he pointed out that not everyone is held accountable.

Legitimate complaints in a players only meeting to clear up what is going wrong I'd say.

You could be right, it certainly crossed my mind when I first heard the comments. Regardless, the last thing I want is to see us pursue a struggling shooting guard that measures 6'2 1/2 without shoes. I know it wasn't a particularly strong draft class but I thought he should have been available at the end of the round and maybe even into the second. If they were giving him away for a 2nd round pick, maybe I'd have interest but right now I'd rather see what Green and Goodwin can do.

He complained that they're "refusing to pass to him", which seems rather unbelievable given his high volume of shots. If anything Waiters is shooting too much given his inefficiency.

As to the double standard... welcome to the NBA Dion Waiters. There has ALWAYS been double standards in this league, bitching about it does nothing for him. If you want to get the star treatment from the team then play like a star, not a scrub. Dion should not worry about what Irving might get away with because if Dion was not himself sucking then he wouldnt get benched.
