I looked at the guide...it looks like we are the only game not in HD this week?

That can't be true...!

I agree that's TOTALLY bull-shipp.

I thought the NFL said that all games must be broadcast in HDTV. It sucks that they choose two-or-three red-headed stepchildren each week to get broadcast in standard def.

It's not like DTV doesn't CHARGE enough for the NFL Package!!!

Once again it's not Direct TV, or Dish, or Cox, or Comcast, etc.
It's Fox. They decided not to broadcast the game in HD. The cable/satellite companies take what Fox, CBS, or NBC give them. They have no control over the situation.

Well, it's not like there aren't enough commercials during a football game where FOX can't afford to broadcast the game in HDTV!

(there, happy now?)

You're handle is a "big O", so I'm guessing you're in an almost constant state of euphoria!!!

My, constant state of euphoria, still allows me to understand the concept of signal flow.
Which you obvisouly do not.
Have fun complaining to Direct TV.

Man, tough crowd.

I thought that comparing someone to an orgasm would be a good thing.

Whatever.

Big CORRECTION on this Thread.

The game WAS broadcast by FOX in HD. I watched it at home here in Seattle in beautiful HD.

This was DIRECTV's decision not to air the game in HD, so direct your complaints to DTV.

You are the ONLY person I have seen claim that the game was in HD. Every other source says that the game was in SD Widescreen.

Just because the game filled your entire screen doesn't mean it was in HD. It filled mine, it appeared to be WIDESCREEN like an HD picture, but it was undoubtedly not in HD.

The HD Sports Guide I look at as well said the game wasn't in HD.

It really shocks me that some people cannot tell the difference :)

It wasn't HD.

You guys don't get that just because COX or DTV broadcast something like that, it's not up to them. FOX had to film the game in HD and they didn't. It's part of how they do things. There are always games each week NOT FILMED IN HD.
