I heard he had an injury that resulted in him doing awful in punts. Before he was cut he was last in the league with gross and net average.

Just read on Sando's blog that Durant Brooks was one of three punters that tried out. Tom Rouen also tried out.

I dunno if anyone remembers but I was screaming for us to get another punter in during TC and pre-season. It was very evident how terrible he was when he couldnt even get distance or hangtime in Flagstaff.

That's why you never draft a punter or kicker until very late, if then. The other guy people wanted,Dragosvich,or something like that, isn't in the NFL i don't belive, either. I don't know what the big difference between punting in the NFL and college is but i wouldn't drfat one. There are too many out there.

He (Brooks) is in Green Bay today for a try out. They wanted Graham, but we already snagged him.
