I think Denver and Mavs can be in but Warriors might miss play-off's,they have a tough schedule
Mavs have been struggling with Dirk. No way they make it without Dirk. Its a tight race between GS, Dallas, and Denver. Nuggests and Warriors really have to screw up to let Mavs in.

The SpursReport people who posted that vid are clearly claiming that Stack dragged Floppo down, but I clearly see Floppo's right shoulder fall before his left one - the side which was supposedly dragged down.

It looked to me like Stackhouse only "took him down" once the flop had begun. But it's hard to see things otherwise with Manu. He's made his reputation.

hmm, looks like ginobili puts up an elbow pretty high in his boxout and is leaning into stack at that point. stack pulls him, but i have a hard time believing that he yanked him so hard that ginobili flew off his feet. that part looks like a flop. i think a double foul was the right call. ginobili with the forearm/elbow to stacks upper body (can be construed as being aimed at the neck region), stack yanking him, and then ginobili launching himself off his feet as he is wont to do.

this is a case of two players with bad reps doing cementing their reps with their actions.

DALLAS(AP) Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks is out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain and a mildly sprained knee.
It's a blow to the Mavericks' title hopes - and perhaps their chances of making the playoffs. The team announced the diagnosis Monday, the day after the reigning MVP was injured during a game against San Antonio.
The Mavs have lost three straight, continuing a spiral since adding Jason Kidd. They are only 9-8 with the All-Star point guard and hold a half-game lead over Golden State for the No. 7 seed.

Well, if Dallas stays in the playoffs, whoever draws them as their first round matchup will have won a lottery. Same can probably be said about playing vs. Houston. This is bad news for the other teams that will be beating each other up in the first round. Whoever plays Dallas without Dirk should be well rested to take on anyone in the second round.

Denver and GS are gonna make it now and bump Dallas I think. Dallas without Dirk is at a huge disadvantage and will be lucky to stay in the race.

Dallas' Schedule over the next 2 weeks. It probably is an optimistic timetable for Dirk's return but for arguments sake let's say he's back by Apr 6.

Tue, Mar 25 LA Clippers
Thu, Mar 27 @ Denver
Sun, Mar 30 @ Golden State
Mon, Mar 31 @ LA Clippers
Wed, Apr 2 Golden State
Fri, Apr 4 @ LA Lakers
Sun, Apr 6 @ Phoenix

That's about worst case scenario for them as there's 2 games vs Gstate and 1 vs Denver and 5 of 7 on the road.
