Divac: 2 years/ 10.3M!!!

Please! The Suns could have had Divac for close to this price? They should have not offered Q, and signed Divac. Nash, JJ, Marion, Amare, and Divac would have been perfect, especially if Divac signed for only a little over 5M per! Ouch! We could have had Divac, and we get, ooooooooooooooooooH, Traylor!

Vlade is way past done! He is not worth that much money. He simply is too old to play any substantial minutes any more. Did you see him play last season?

He was a very good player for many years but I would say Sacramento got the last good years he had in him. Thank you Lakers for saving us Suns fans from suffering through a Vlade/Jake clown act at center!

Now, SOMEONE please save us from an Ostertag/Voskuhl comedy team...

Divac would have been simply a holding pattern for the Suns. Q could become a star. It's a gamble, but if the Clippers don't match it could make a huge difference over the next few seasons. Divac would be nice, but would not get the Suns any closer to being a top team.

Divac would make the Suns a lot more competitive next year, and he'd be invaluable in helping to create the team's personality, which wouldn't go away after he retired. I'd still probably rather have Q.


That said, I don't think Divac was coming to Phoenix any more than Kobe was. There's no point in crying over missing out on players who don't want to be here.

I figured he would get that much or more from the Kings.

BTW, the combination of Divac and Grant will give the Lakers an extremely slow front line. I expect Odoms will be at PF a lot to give them more quickness.

I guess the Fakers couldn't sign Rick Fox to an extention. Divac is ok a center but no way is he worth this much.
