Wow...one of the few guys I regretted the Cardinals letting go.

Its a gift...claim the man and you just upgraded your secondary (and team).

Edit - my bad. I think he has enough years accrued that he isn't part of waivers anymore.

+1 There's a reason he's been on multiple teams. I believe there's also a reason Keim didn't sign him when he had the chance.

There is also a reason Keim signed Gresham to one of the worst contracts we have seen. The answer is not DJ Swearinger is a problem.

Because the NFL is a dictatorship? Gawd forbid one of the players openly criticizes a coach - yet coaches can criticize players all they want. :doi:

Swearinger is a terrible fit for the "keep your head down and your mouth shut" locker room under Wilkes.

But a week from now he could be a great acquisition.

Him plus Pharoah Cooper make a nice 1-2 ww pickup session to end a miserable year.

If anyone can give an honest opinion to management about the current staff, it could be him.

But he can do it inside the locker not calling out publicy, thats doesnt help
But we have a crappy roster and he is significant improvment as a player then what we have in the seconday
He plays rackless and give100%, our players mostly plays with the same effort of the preaseason

He is due to make $4.5 million next year. I think, if the Cards pick him up on waivers they would be stuck with paying that.

I think we let him go for a reason, and now Redskins are doing the same.

Good player, bad locker room influence. Doubt we are interested.
